   A lot of this is down to his nature of hard work. Having grown up in post-war Athens, there is not much in Panos’s character which says, ‘I can’t.’ Everything is possible and his past, outlined at the Panos web site, is testament to that. This and his philosophy.
   ‘I philosophize a lot about life, how strange life is, what guides people in their decisions—the same thoughts that the old Greek philosophers had,’ says the former sociology major. Much of his understanding about people can be seen in his university sociology paper on nightclubs. He has held a lifelong fascination for people, and the way people act in groups. And that has led to Panos Emporio’s success in marketing.
