 HO hasn't been
stuck for getting that little bit extra before Christmas? La Perla emailed
us with a few ideas last week which we thought we would share with readers.

The La Perla winter 2001 collection campaign was shot
by Nadir on board Hugh Hefner's private plane, with sets by Elena Capone.
The company offers its entire suggestive 1940s-inspired collection for
Christmas. Strips and strings in the designs suggest bondage; they are
also meant to tie in to the "line" of an airplane and its flight
path.
Malizia's Paris collection was created specifically
for Christmas 2001 and New Year's Eve. In extra-light red or black tulle,
it features rhombus-pattern embroidery. Small strasses embellish the cups
of the balconette bra.
Marvel's striking butterfly G-string bodysuit combines
sensuality with what the company calls aggressive design, playing very
loosely on the Madame Butterfly theme. It's one of several butterfly-themed
designs on offer from the Marvel label for fall–winter 2001–2.
With New Year's Day a glance away, the company's Glam
on Web etail site is offering guaranteed delivery (with some conditions)
for January 1 for orders placed by December 27, 3 p.m. Italian time. At
the time of writing, orders over C99 will be shipped free.
Glam on Web has also highlighted numerous gift items
such as the La Perla book Sensualitars, which was previewed in
Lucire early in 2001, wallets and photo frames, as well as other
intimate apparel specials.
