Vendredi québecois

Catherine Brulé

Catherine Brulé's daring and revealing women’s collection was a major runway hit. Skin-tight dresses with ruched side seams and diagonal hems were paired with knee-high leather boots, a definite accessory to have for the season. Silk sleeveless shirts had draped boat-neck collars and her jersey tops often had one long sleeve and either a cap or flutter sleeve on the other side—or no sleeve at all.
Her look is smooth and sleek, skin-revealing and sexy. Skirt slits ran all the way up to the thigh, showing off a woman‘s curves while clinging to her every move. A switch to denim looks at the end of her show had creative crocheted shawls tied around the waist over dark, sand-blasted jeans and white jersey and lace tops with split flutter sleeves. Brulé's feminine form was curvaceous and bold, and although her palette was neutral with black, red and beige, it definitely contributed to the collection’s great sex appeal.
