Richard Tyler Bride
How could you show up a wonderful couture collection?
By showing an even more radiant bridal line. Joining the ranks of
Vera Wang, Richard Tyler Bridal brought simple and elegant options
for all brides-to-be. A silk satin column wrap train dress was pretty
and poised, while the silk velvet tuxedo turned out a new spin on
menswear. Flower girls, brides, grooms and a designer … what a beautiful
story.
Eduardo Lucero
TAKING
Latin America to a new an innovative level in the apparel industry,
Lucero delivered a simple yet pretty collection, very accessible
to the average woman. He brings sexy, beautifully crafted haute
couture, from his involvement in his line from the conceptual to
the practical.
His palette indicated a softer side to women,
choosing to subtly illustrate his silhouette. A nude satin dress
with draped neckline and hem, nude silk organza blouse with tie
sleeve were elegant without pretension. The sleeves on a sage brocade
safari jacket were eye-catching and a pink Chantilly lace top with
a champagne satin suit were simply darling. A tangerine matte jersey
halter with silk floral burnout skirt were creative but the pieces
that caught my eye were the dark rose-cut lace skirt and gown. They
were exquisite with a wonderful femininity to them.
The show was inspiring, and Eduardo Lucero is
proving time and time again that LA
has a strong fashion industry, not just creative for the celebrity
set, but for women who appreciate the simple, elegant details in
life. Lucero’s clothing is indicative of these details, and is proving
to be a valuable part of his clients’ lifestyle.
