The entire season was a culmination of class, trash and good old-fashioned fun

Louis Verdad

MADONNA loves him and so do most women across the board. The romance of the ’30s and ’40s is back in full regalia, thanks to Louis Verdad. Stanwyck years are thrusted onto the runway, and the images of black-and-white starlets are all the rage. Old-world charm meets Latin America in these cigar-smoking, pouting divas of today. What could be more daring than a puffed three-quarter-length-sleeve linen jacket and with a striped Dupioni hot-short? This number was sexy and sophisticated, while being the ultimate attention-grabber.
The entire season was a culmination of class, trash and good old-fashioned fun. The true meaning of spring. •
