Academy Award low-down: who came out top on Oscars’ night?

Did Atonement win the Academy Award? Or did the crime thriller No Country for Old Men swipe the Oscar? We now have all the answers from February 24 when this year’s winners were revealed. While we were all hoping our favourites would win the industry’s most sought-after awards, that wasn’t always the case. By the next morning, the buzz was all about what happened at the momentous awards’ show.
Who better than Leah Rozen, People’s movie critic since 1991, to discuss the highs and lows of the Academy Awards? While Oscar parties continue to rage on, Rozen provides her unique insider perspective of what went on inside the Kodak Theatre. Her expert critique of the winners and losers, as well as her knowledge of the rich history behind the Awards, gives viewers an entertaining wrap-up of the night. Click on the image below to view.
Lucire was at the Oscars as usual—more in a future print edition.
