Footballer David Beckham divided reader opinions in CondƩ Nast poll (photo courtesy Adidas).

CondĆ© Nast’s GQ has named James Bond actor Daniel Craig Britain’s best dressed man in its UK edition in a reader poll.
Comedian NoĆ«l Fielding came in second, with actor Daniel Day-Lewis in third place.
James McAvoy, Tom Ford, David Beckham, Jude Law, David Cameron MP, David de Rothschild and David Furnish rounded out the top 10. Formula 1’s Lewis Hamilton was 15th.
There were a lot of D names in that list—just as Gordon seems to be a name to avoid unless one wants to be on the worst dressed list.
The magazine also named its worst dressed, led by Russell Brand, Pete Doherty and PM Gordon Brown.
TV’s Jonathan Ross and Jeremy Clarkson were fourth and fifth. James Blunt, Gordon Ramsay and Mika were sixth through eighth.
Interestingly, David Beckham wound up on the worst dressed list, too, at ninth.
Razorlight’s Johnny Borrell came in 10th. Further down, HRH Prince William came in 16th, though his brother, father and paternal grandfather managed to get into the top 50 of the best dressed list.
Craig is currently filming his second Bond movie, Quantum of Solace. During interviews, he said he went through dozens of suits per film due to the action scenes. His wardrobe in the upcoming Bond adventure—the 22nd in the Eon series—is supplied by fellow list member Tom Ford, a designer whom the actor favours.
