Claudia Schiffer and others commemorate children’s rights’ convention
The fall of the Berlin Wall is not the only 20th anniversary being celebrated this month. UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassadors have recorded a series of PSAs to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), which takes place on November 20.
Supermodel Claudia Schiffer appears in one PSA (above) on the right to quality education for children. HM Queen Rania al-Abdullah of Jordan, Mia Farrow, Lang Lang, Angélique Kidjo, Youssou N’Dour, Ewan McGregor and Ricardo Montaner are among the UNICEF spokespersons.
PSAs from the above luminaries can already be viewed at the CRC anniversary website, with others to come.
