Land Rover, in association with Biosphere Expeditions, is offering seven people across Europe the chance to go on an expedition to Namibia as part of a research team.
The lucky seven will help conduct research on big cats, such as leopards and cheetahs, for two weeks beginning in November.
‘The team will learn the skills needed to live in the bush, and may assist with capturing and collaring big cats so they can be tracked and monitored effectively. They will also work with local communities to create a sustainable future for all,’ says Land Rover.
The competition, on now at www.landrover.co.uk and closing September 30, requires entrants to upload a video explaining why they want to be on the expedition. The top 25, determined by online voting, will be narrowed down after a final selection day on October 9.
They will also learn how to use a Land Rover across difficult terrain and how to use GPS on a Land Rover Experience Day, preparing them for the African landscape.
