Range Rover shows five-door Evoque: videos

The Range Rover Evoque, whose launch we covered earlier this year when Victoria Beckham was announced as a design executive for Land Rover, will spawn a five-door model, to be shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17.
The sleek lines of the original are interrupted slightly with the extra door, and the rear quarters appear a little heavier, but the overall Range Rover styling is maintained with the new model.
The premium small SUV is meant to carve out a new niche, though one could argue that the Evoque simply re-emphasizes the ‘sport’ in the often-misused acronym.
Some commentators see the Evoque rivalling the Austrian-built Mini Countryman SUV in the compact premium space. Other rivals from German firms include the BMW X1, Audi Q5 and Volkswagen Tiguan.
