Michael Hill, the jeweller behind the Ultimate Engagement Ring—Search for the World’s Best Couple competition with a 22½ ct princess-cut diamond ring as first prize, has announced his judging panel.
Alongside Hill, Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell, reporter and How to Tell a Man by His Shoes author Kathryn Eisman and television judge Jeanine Pirro have been added to the panel.
Bushnell says. ‘A contest like this is very exciting. It proves that there is still romance in the world.”
The competition has just passed the half-way mark, with 12 of 16 online challenges completed.
Contestants have had to compete on favourite photos, reasons for wanting the diamond ring, secret pet names, and stories about how they met.
The competition will accept entries till November 28, and people are still being encouraged to enter. The entry website is at www.my22ct.com, and the competition is open to residents of the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Celebrity Kim Kardashian launched the competition on October 18 in New York City.
