Miss France 2011, Laury Thilleman, has been endearing observers in France with a series of interviews, most recently in a chat session with netizens on the website for Ouest-France.
And it’s the nude beauty look that she favours, keeping things as natural as possible.
She says that she washes her face with soap and hydrates carefully.
‘I only put on light make-up, because I cannot see the point in hiding behind a monstrous layer,’ she adds. She says she adds only a little bit of gloss, mascara and powder.
Thilleman says her hair is wavy, and that she leaves it as naturally as possible.
She credits swimming for helping with her look. ‘The sea water is very good for the skin. It dries those little imperfections. I love the wavy effect that saltwater gives to my hair.’
Complementing her passion for natural beauty is a commitment to sustainability. Thilleman is also a keen surfing and volleyball fan.
