The May 20 première of Paolo Sorrentino’s This Must Be the Place at the Festival de Cannes, which stars Sean Penn and Eve Hewson, daughter of Bono, saw the arrival of supermodel Claudia Schiffer wearing Dolce & Gabbana, Rosario Dawson, Faye Dunaway, Sami Nacery, Marisa Berenson, Gwen Stefani and Fermine Richard.
Hewson looked every inch the star in a black bodice with pink skirt, by Chanel.
Neither Bono nor wife Ali Hewson attended, allowing their daughter more of the limelight at the première.
Last night’s première at the Cannes Film Festival, Radu Mihaileanu’s La source des femmes at the Palais des Festivals saw Leila Bekhti, Elodie Bouchez (wearing Cartier jewellery), Emir Kusturica, and Fermine Richard.
La source des femmes deals with the empowerment of women in the Arab world, starring Bekhti, and filmed with a North African backdrop.
