UK media, in particular the tabloids, are reporting that Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, 69, is due to wed his fiancée Nancy Shevell, 51, this weekend.
The ceremony is expected to have only 30 guests, according to the Daily Mirror, and will take place at a registry office in Marylebone. A reception may take place at Sir Paul’s home in St John’s Wood, according to the newspaper.
Sir Paul had wed his first wife, Linda, at the same location. It will be his third wedding, after his high-profile divorce from Heather Mills in 2008.
It will be the second marriage for Shevell, who is a New York heiress.
By law, Sir Paul had to give 16 days’ notice of the marriage, which was posted on September 16.
