Make-up artist Rebecca Connor, who has worked with us since the mid-2000s, has put together a collection of workshops for those interested in beauty techniques.
Each workshop has two to three make-up professionals and 12 students, while each attendee will receive a goody bag, a workbook with notes and tips, NZ$10 to be spent toward Jane Iredale mineral make-up, and tea, coffee and snacks.
The prices are very low: the Mothers and Daughters session, from 9.30 to 11.30 a.m., is only NZ$85, while the later Master Class, from 3.30 to 5.30 p.m., is NZ$45.
The former talks about colours and styles, and how to apply a daytime look that can be adapted into an evening one. The latter encourages attendees to bring their own make-up kits, learning what to retain and what to discard, and how to make full use of the items within. A day look and the smoky eye look will be taught.
There are two sessions, scheduled for Wellington, New Zealand, on April 28 and May 5. Venue details and further information can be found on Connor’s Facebook page, while bookings can be made on +64 27 232-5913 or via email at info@rebeccaconnor.co.nz.
