OPI has announced six new Softshades nail lacquers, inspired by the New York City Ballet.
The new five sheer shades, plus a silver, sparkly lacquer, feature glitter particles which can be layered over any of the other colours to add shine, or be worn alone.
‘OPI is so excited to work with the New York City Ballet,’ says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI executive VP and artistic director in a release.
‘NYCB is rich with artistic history and has a renowned reputation that brings people from around the world to see NYCB performances. The dancers, choreography and costumes provided a wealth of inspiration for a range of soft, feminine hues. The beige, pink, and white lacquers bring to mind classic ballet slippers, tutus and leotards, while the sheer lilac and gray add muted color to ballet’s traditional pink.’
The six lacquers are: Barre My Soul, in beige; You Callin’ Mea Lyre?, in pink; Don’t Touch My Tutu!, in white; Care to Danse?, in lilac; My Pointe Exactly See?, in grey; and Pirouette My Whistle Drink up!, in silver.
All SoftShades lacquers contain no DBP, toluene, or formaldehyde, and each includes OPI’s ProWide brush.
