Ketz-ke’s spring 2012 collection, Print Literature, gives a clue to its theme in the title. ‘This range is all about the prints,’ says designer Jenny Drury in a release. ‘Prints upon prints upon prints with designs that pop, created to make you feel bright, fresh and uplifted.’
Drury says she has been inspired by her customers who ‘wear Ketz-ke with confidence. Women who can blur the line between design and art, who love to decorate their homes with mismatched objects and aren’t afraid to wear mixed prints against a landscape of clean lines and neutral colours.’
To complement the prints, Ketz-ke recommends its Essential Basics or its accessories’ range, featuring bags and belts.
This season’s colour palette is feminine, from girly pastels like spearmint green, French vanilla, sea foam and glacier blue, to fierce brights of aquamarine, ultra violet, cobalt blue and fuschia.—Samantha O’Reilly
