The Duchess of Cambridge wore a blue tweed M Missoni dress and a hat by Rachel Trevor Morgan at an event for Fields in Trust in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
She had worn the dress at an event two months ago, but her re-use of outfits has helped raise the Duchess’s profile and connect her to the public.
Her husband, Prince William, spoke, paying tribute to the charity, which protects outdoor recreational space and playing fields.
He paid tribute to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, who unveiled a plaque at Vernon Park commemorating her Diamond Jubilee and its new status as the Queen Elizabeth II Field.
The monarch wore a silk tweed Stewart Parvin coat and shift dress.
The Duke of Edinburgh could not attend due to his earlier bladder infection. He is presently recovering at home after being discharged from hospital.
Earlier in the day, as part of the Diamond Jubilee Tour, the Queen and the Duchess appeared on a balcony in Old Market Square in Nottingham. The Duchess joined the crowd in singing ‘God Save the Queen’.
