Organic Trevarno has released its honey and sugar body scrub for summer skin. The new product is chemical- and synthetic-free, featuring organic cane sugar for polishing, lime essential oil for refreshing, and wheatgerm oil for vitamin E. Honey is blended with vanilla pods soaked in jojoba oil and rosebuds. The result is a cleanser and exfoliator with a citrus scent, retailing for £20 and available online from www.trevarnoskincare.co.uk.
Her has announced that Cecilia Robinson, founder of Au Pair Link, is the 2012 Businesswoman of the Year. She also won the Best SME category.
Robinson’s vision is to create the largest au pair agency in the world and New Zealand’s largest home-based early childhood education provider. Sachie Nomura (Sachie’s Kitchen) won Best New Business, and Dawn Engelbrecht (Safe Kids) won Most Sustainable Business.
Hennes & Mauritz, meanwhile, will open its newly renovated flagship store at Hamngatan 22, Stockholm, on August 24.
The store now has 3,700 m² and will show the company’s latest autumn collections on its reopening. New stores are also expected to open this autumn in Latvia, México and Malaysia. Domestically, H&M will open new stores in Alingsås and Malmö.
H&M isn’t the only company with a flagship store. Linden Leaves will open its flagship location at 317 Parnell Road, Auckland, on July 7. The new building has a terraced frontage and has been developed in partnership with Watgunlow Architects. Designer light fittings are from Douglas & Bec.
