Olivia Palermo, in her first trip to Russia, was fêted by Carrera y Carrera as it released its Música collection in Moskva on Saturday.
   The Spanish jewellery house threw at cocktail party to commemorate the launch held at the banks of the Moskva River, and near the sculpture of Peter the Great in the Russian capital.
   Hosted by Irina Golitsina, the director-general of Carrera y Carrera in Russia, VIPs included Alika Smekhova, Olga Zakharova, Snezhana Georgieva, Oksana On, Yana Valencia, Dimitriy Loginov, Karina Oshroeva and Snezhana Kulova.
   Palermo serves as the muse and face of the collection.
   The cocktail party had a Spanish feel, with Mediterranean cuisine, including gazpacho and jamón. Cava was served with dessert. DJ Alexandra Fedorova performed.
   The new collection was shown in four glass cases brought from Carrera y Carrera’s Madrid studio.
   Russia is an important market for Carrera y Carrera. The brand is available in 40 countries, and in Russia it has boutiques in Moskva and St Petersburg.
