Lovable is introducing its latest collection, Besties. Its new range that mixes bright and bold prints with colours that pop, which is designed to be fun and instantly cheer you up, just like a best friend would. Lovable has designed two bra shapes, a Boost Bra and a wire free bra that can be paired with cute, cotton briefs with bright trims.
On a similar topic, Hold My Own is the new collection from Pleasure State My Fit. The Hold My Own bra has been specifically designed to provide a natural push-up-without-padding look, a suede-touch lining that applies “grab and hold” and a sueded glisten fabric that gives a soft and smooth wearing experience. The Hold My Own range offers colours including back, mocha and Georgia peach. The collection also offers a selection of briefs including a thong and a new midi brief style.
At New Zealand Fashion Week, global hair-styling brand GHD will present the new Blue Sky concept show by two local labels. As the naming rights’ sponsor for GHD Presents Blue Sky, Twenty-Seven Names and Ingrid Starnes will take centre-stage to release their autumn–winter 2013 collections. Britomart’s Nathan Club and Australis House will provide the venue for the show, with Michael Beel Salon leading experienced stylists. The show is scheduled for 10 a.m. on September 5.
OPI launches Vintage Minnie Mouse, which includes four limited-edition nail lacquers. They were created in honour of Disney’s beloved character. The colours cover Minnie Mouse’s irresistible charm in playful, pretty shades of pink and red. The latest collection shows vibrant, feminine shades for summer nails and includes a pink crème lacquer, a frosted red shade, a shimmery fuchsia and a heart glitter confetti.
Ray-Ban introduces its Ambermatic lens, in honour of its 75th anniversary. The lenses transition from yellow to brown, darkening depending on light and temperature conditions, while blocking glares and highlighting outlines and shapes. The Ambermatic lens includes four iconic shapes: the Classic Aviator, Classic Aviator with curved temple tips, Shooter and Outdoorsman.

Finally, Wella stylists and colourists from across the globe celebrate the Procter & Gamble’s Thank You Mum campaign at the London 2012 Olympic Games. P&G will offer beauty, hair and grooming treatments to all the athletes’ mothers and their families attending the Olympic Games. The salon will be held at the global Wella Professionals’ Studios on Mortimer Street in Central London and will be opened from July 25 to August 11.—Christina Naidu
