Logan Brown’s Steve Logan is flanked by Tory & KO’s Victoria Taylor and Kirstin O’Brien.

Tory & KO, the Wellington jeweller, recently had a competition with Logan Brown Restaurant & Bar, where diners over a six-week period from June 1 to July 15 could win a 18 ct gold pearl and diamond ring, valued at NZ$5,800.
Customers who went into Logan Brown for a glass of Louis Roederer champagne were eligible to select a little black bag from Tory & KO, one of which contained a winning pearl.
Jules Bloxham, the lucky winner, was presented with her specially designed ring at Logan Brown over a celebratory glass of Louis Roederer.
Second prize, drawn at the end of July and its winner notified privately, was a dinner for two at Logan Brown, a bottle of Louis Roederer champagne and a Tory & KO pair of cultured pearl and champagne diamond earrings, worth a total of NZ$2,200.
But what went in to the making of Bloxham’s ring? In the video below, jeweller Victoria Taylor demonstrates the amount of time and effort involved.
