Lovable has a colourful new campaign, called Selfies with Besties. ‘Selfies’ are self-portraits taken by girls and guys on a camera phone and uploaded to their Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram for everyone to see.
Most girls would rather shoot selfies with their best friend, so Lovable have incorporated this trend into its new underwear range called Selfies with Besties.
The campaign features long-time ambassador Jennifer Hawkins and her co-star, showing off a new collection mixing bright and bold prints with colours.
Meanwhile, it was a pleasure to see news of Alvin Valley among the newswire messages at the end of last week. Valley, whom we covered frequently at New York Fashion Week, has launched alvinvalley.com, where he sells his famous trousers. The website débuts with 36 options, with Alvin Valley’s unique inner construction, and colours including basic black, white, grey and khaki as well as purple, red, yellow, blue, green and pink. Some of the iconic Alvin Valley styles make a return on the website, and prices drop from the US$325–US$800 range to US$195–US$335.
Valley had been called the ‘King of Pants’ by Women’s Wear Daily. The trousers are all made in New York City.
