Last night, fashion’s finest braved the weather to celebrate the launch of the new accessories magazine, Heaven Has Heels. Hosted by the Jimmy Rooftop Bar at the James Hotel in downtown Manhattan, followers were treated to a live viral photo studio thanks to Swig Social, while Cupcake Vodka and Perrier were on hand to ensure guests toasted this season of New York Fashion Week in style.
The ultimate online destination for lovers of shoes and accessories, Heaven Has Heels features over 150 of this season’s hottest accessories with click-to-buy features, designer profiles and fashion editorials. Its ‘Faces of Fashion Week’ editorial features some of the industry’s most noteworthy fashion commentators in New York, Paris and London. Designed to be an industry resource, the editorial allows you to click on a profile to follow on Twitter or hit the resource button to access a full list of Twitter handles from every designer on the official Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week schedule.
For the début issue, Heaven Has Heels teamed up with Zappos Couture to curate a selection of seasonal picks from over a dozen brands including Alexander McQueen, Stuart Weitzman, Rachel Zoe and more, that allow readers to let their fingers do the walking when shopping for this fall’s favourites.
Angela Gilltrap, the former Associate Publisher of The Daily Front Row and Editor-in-Chief and creator of RWH Magazine, heads up this new venture. ‘To me the definition of luxury is having what you want, when you want it. Heaven Has Heels allows you to connect with brands, up-and-coming designers and seasonal trends. It’s the ultimate accessory for fashionable shooligans.’
