Thomas Salme

Our Milano-based photographer (and author) Thomas Salme has been photographing on the other side of the Pond again, this time in Chicago, Ill.
His latest subject: ‘23-year-old Chicago native Miss Sweeta Desai is modelling a very vintage piece from the early 1930s in this photo. This particular piece is from a chic vintage boutique, Mr and Mrs Digz, in Chicago. With her love of entertainment, she has taken to the stage with modelling and dancing. Sweeta currently attends Columbia College, Chicago, and is one year shy of earning her Bachelor of Arts.’ The shoot was at the Clarke House Museum, the oldest house in Chicago built in 1836, and located at 1827 S. Indiana Aveue, Chicago.
Thomas says, ‘I think that Sweeta is more proof of young people who are following their passion in life’—hence his desire to give them additional exposure in our pages.
