Icebreaker has launched its winter 2013 collection, which the company calls its ‘most innovative and technologically advanced.’
In some of the offerings, the company’s soft shell construction has been combined with its Bluesign-accredited ‘nano’ particles, which feature a ridged surface that allows water, oil and mud to run off.
The Dart LS Half-Zip for men, a similar design for women, and the Quantum Plus Hood are three in the range incorporating what the company calls nanotechnology.
Icebreaker also has hybrid fabrics in its winter 2013 range, using Realfleece fabric and soft shell panels, and natural fibres blending 70 per cent merino with 30 per cent cotton.
The Icebreaker Legend LS Zip is the company’s warmest mid-layer design, where one layer can take the place of several, and four of the women’s sweaters this season are front-to-back reversible.
A stylish addition is the Ariana dress with a crushed cowl neckline.
Its Bodyfit base later collection has been upgraded, while there are new luxury knitwear pieces and accessories.
