Video: Paris couture at Versace, Dior, with Jennifer Lawrence, Gemma Arterton, Mena Suvari, Uma Thurman

Paris editor Lola Saab is reporting from the haute couture shows presently, but to whet your appetite, we have two videos from the event.
One of our media partners caught the arrivals at Versace, where A-list celebrities included Uma Thurman, Mena Suvari, Zachary Quinto, David Furnish, Elena Perminova, Delphine Chanéac and Harper’s Bazaar Russia’s Miroslava Duma. Supermodel Naomi Campbell made a triumphant appearance on the catwalk.
We also have the arrivals at Christian Dior at the Hôtel des Invalides, which had celebrities including Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence (exposing her midriff), Léa Seydoux, Leelee Sobieski, Peter Marino, Marisa Berenson, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, and Gemma Arterton (who offers some remarks post-show). On the catwalk, at the Raf Simons-designed collection, we saw a collection that crossed continents, in what should be regarded as one of his most creative. The 53 looks took us on a whirlwind trip around the world, showing what Simons is capable of—though it is hard to summarize the collection in a single phrase.
Down Under, meanwhile, the Miromoda winners—at which Lucire publisher Jack Yan judged, alongside Dame Pieter Stewart (in the chair), Paula Collins and Anthony Morsinkhof—saw Rotorua-based Adrienne Whitewood take the supreme award for the second time. Mitchell Vincent, Kylie Mangan, Leilani Rickard, Dmonic Intent, and Hōhepa Thompson will join Whitewood in securing places at New Zealand Fashion Week.
