Finally, a website that doesn’t shy away from more in-depth articles analysing trends and the phenomena behind fashion. A smarter read than most, though sadly its articles appear to go only up to 2014 (re-reviewed 10/19)

 

The Gloss
A large-format monthly glossy founded in 2006, later distributed with The Irish Times. The web edition follows the print edition’s æsthetic, and has well written features (2/21)

Sweden has always been at the forefront of the dot-com world, but its online fashion magazines have often been better for men than women. Modette changes that: it’s a great site, with plenty of free articles online on fashion and beauty

 

MyCompass.ca
A leading Canadian site run by our friends Ilona Kauremszky and Stephen Smith, with first-hand accounts of international travel

Paper
No, we don’t know why this wasn’t listed earlier. It has well written editorial, obviously ignoring the push by the less intelligent to dumb down, and gives a great slice of fashion life from its New York base

Website of Rona Maynard, the former editor of Chatelaine, aiming to build a women’s community. She’s also written a book, My Mother’s Daughter, which the site promotes
