THERE is no need to be blue about your hair, now that The Hair Gallery has officially opened its doors to the UK public in the upmarket London suburb of Esher, Surrey.
Proprietors Shelley Pullar and Chris Blake transformed Columns into the trendy, up-beat salon it is today.
The New Zealand pair has gone for a Mediterranean feel with the decor; Moroccan terracotta tiles cover the walls, while cacti plants abound. The only columns to be seen now are blended into the salon's front entrance, but the original spiral staircase remains intact, leading to the second floor of the salon. Here, most of the chemical services are performedoffering a more intimate atmosphere for the clients.
Colour is also a major service, with all stylists able to recommend the most suitable option for you, whether it's your first time, through to correcting those unwanted tones. A nail technician works alongside the stylists for clients who are restricted on time but want that extra finishing touch to their overall appearance.
As a Kerastase Consultant salon, they offer haircare advice to all their clients. An integral part of the servicejust as important as the haircut itself.
Now six months after the opening, another senior stylist from New Zealand has joined the team of seven, making an even and happy staffing mix, but there is always room for more.
For enquiries or appointments to see any of the team of stylists at "The Hair Gallery" phone 44 1372 467-072 or 44 1372 465-180, or pop in for a visit to 10 Church Street, Esher, Surrey KT10 8QS, UK. The team looks forward to crimping, curling, colouring, and cutting your tresses! Joanne Smith
