Shoot notes
How did we wind up with two different sets of photos from a single
shoot? While both Karl Priston and Jack Yan photographed, Karl additionally
used two cameras. One was a $5,000 digital, and the other a regular
35 mm. Jack insisted that the print edition benefit from the 35
mm shots, so Karl used both. With the exception of the preceding
page, the web edition features digital shots that predate the 35
mm ones in the magazine by a few minutes.
