Singles
fall 2004 line proved to be a heavyweight contender in the eyes
of the industry
Galina opened her showroom in New York approximately
eight months ago, hoping to gain a wider market base, though her
initial love is to work in LA.
I think LA
is a lot more fun, she said. I work with a phenomenal
group of forward-thinking people.
LA showed its love
in return, Galina was first go out the gate, at Smashbox Studios,
and Single's fall 2004 line proved to be a heavyweight contender
in the eyes of the industry.
My clothes give a confident, sexy and fun
attitude, Galina explained, when asked why her designs struck
a chord with the audience.
With that stride, Galina is hoping to take her
work up a notch, and focus her line to reflect a young
customer, with innovative prints and technology, and to provide
a product with even better quality.
If the first season is anything to go by, Single
has proved it will be a lasting staple in the wardrobes of Southern
Californians and women everywhere.
