Inn at Thorn Hill and Spa
We headed to the Inn at Thorn Hill and Spa in the White Mountains of Jackson, New Hampshire, with its fresh air, friendly staff, beautiful backdrop, lavish setting as well as nature’s hypnotic views. Walk into a spacious entrance and be prepared to be greeted by the welcoming and jovial innkeeper who treats guests like family.
Established in the late 1800s, a century later Thorn Hill Inn continues to maintain its traditional charm, reviving it by adding modern elegance. The rooms are beautifully appointed and lavishly organized to offer comfort and a relaxing getaway.

For the more adventurous traveller, make your way to the forest for an unforgettable hike or simply head to dinner at Forty where the chef’s profound culinary talents are presented in every dish. The cuisine is not one to be missed, with options including the heirloom burrata, a simple dish that offers immense flavours: the taste of basil, tomatoes and burrata are accentuated by a touch of balsamic reduction. There is a seafood delight of a bowl of fresh mussels in a rich and delicately seasoned sauce.
Breakfast at Forty is just as palatable. Enjoy delightful views of morning dew, as chirping birds take full flight. Sip on an espresso and indulge in a delicious avocado toast topped with fresh eggs while waiting for the day to begin.
