Dame Elizabeth Taylor was late for her own funeral—at her own request.
In accordance with her wishes, the 79-year-old actress’s service began 15 minutes after the publicized time.
Dame Elizabeth has been laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California, after a private service held outside Los Angeles.
ITN reports that Dame Elizabeth’s close friend, Michael Jackson, is also interred at Forest Lawn.
Dame Elizabeth was surrounded by her four children when she lost her battle with congestive heart failure on Wednesday.
