This August in Las Vegas, MAGIC will return as the world’s largest fashion trade event, delivering buyers the most extensive buying platforms in the world of fashion today.
MAGIC exhibitors represent every major apparel industry: the designers, contemporary, street, casual, sports, kids, shoes, accessories, etc. appealing to every interest group. During this August show, MAGIC will feature all the latest trends, mainstream brands, and emerging brands across every price, with tens of thousands retailers from more than 80 countries presenting their goods to the audiences.
Women’s Wear Daily will collaborate with MAGIC to present the WWD–MAGIC Showcase while other press members including CNN, Elle, Nylon, Glamour, InStyle, GQ, and Seventeen will also be present.
MAGIC will also host its signature seminar series, featuring various fashion-related hot and important topics in today’s fashion industries. This summer’s trendy topic is social e-commerce, and several seminars about social e-commerce will be provided through a collaboration by Portland, Oregon-based Shop Igniter and Ebay Fashion.
Important topics for many fashion brands are also addressed at this event. Sourcing Opportunities in the Americas will be this summer’s important topic for many fashion brands. Respected leaders in the field of global trade are present at these events.
Last summer, the leading global intelligence platform for global trade professionals, Panjiva CEO Josh Green, gave his discussion about the manufacturing situations in China. This summer, Francisco Sanchez, Senior Trade Official at the US Department of Commerce, and Gary Rosee, Vice President of the Global Non-Beauty Supply Chain of Avon, will discuss emerging sourcing opportunities in the western hemisphere.
Trend forecasts will also be presented, with the spring–summer 2012 trend forecast and colour direction presented by Pantone, the Doneger Group, Fashion Snoops, and WGSN.
