Calvin Klein has announced that heart-throb Alexander Skarsgård is the face of its new international advertising campaign for its latest fragrance, Encounter Calvin Klein for Men. He joins model Lara Stone, who is the face of Calvin Klein Collection, CK Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jeans, in the new campaign.
Alexander Skarsgård is best known for his roles in True Blood and Battleship.
The new campaign has been overseen by two of the top names in the business: it has been directed by Fabien Baron and photographed by Steven Klein. The company says it is a modern take on classic film noir, and the film version is said to look at the ‘tension’ between Skarsgård and Stone.
