Malo Cashmere has kicked off its 50th anniversary celebrations showing an art-déco-inspired capsule collection of cashmere dresses at an event held at 10 Corso Como.
The collection predominantly uses a lighter cashmere, employed to create laces, ruffles and other details. The label calls the result ‘a game of contrasts and hand dyes between tradition and avant-garde.’
Malo Cashmere also showed items from its Authentic Charme collection for autumn–winter 2022–3.
In a statement, the company said, ‘The capsule we presented … represents all the love and passion that only the skilled hands of our artisans know how to transfer into the Malo garments. Our fashion idea has always been oriented towards the culture of well made, which requires long times to obtain garments of great value and quality, capable of lasting over time and living generation after generation. An ideal, a philosophy that we wanted to seal with the presentation of exclusive dresses, symbol of excellence, attention to the smallest detail and enhancement of our inestimable artisan heritage.’
