Routledge will publish Drs Jessica and Bryce Quillin’s Content Strategy for Luxury Brands: the Playbook to Drive Customer Engagement in Any Market early next year. Their announcement reads, ‘The book will give readers a strong foundation in understanding content strategy’s role in allowing luxury brands to authentically communicate their brand’s purpose and values, develop deep connections with customers, and ensure that their messaging is reflected dynamically across all of their marketing and social media channels.’ If you haven’t already subscribed to their Substack, Fashion Strategy Weekly, we recommend you do so, to get a taste of their high level of thinking.
After going through entries from 35 countries, 91 entries have been selected as finalists for the 2024 World of Wearable Art Show, Dream Awake. Winners will be announced on awards’ night on September 27. The judging panel comprised WOW founder Dame Suzie Moncrieff, James Dobson of Jimmy D, and Wētā Workshop creative art director Gino Acevedo.
This year’s show runs from September 26 to October 13 at TSB Arena in Wellington, with tickets available from www.worldofwearableart.com.
The Auckland Home Show runs from September 5 to 8 and is New Zealand’s largest home event. Despite the recession there, the organizer says the show is heading for a sell-out, with only a few exhibitor places yet to be filled.
Amanda Magnus, general manager of Exhibitions and Events New Zealand, says that the places are carefully curated as they want to avoid doubling-up, otherwise they would have more than enough exhibitors.
Forty thousand people are expected through in the four days of the show.
