The brand comprises a ready-to-wear collection (which is handmade) and unique designs under its couture section, and they’ve drawn the eye of comedienne and author Katherine Ryan.
Going for texture and ornamentation in the latter, dubbed Rising above Mountains for summer 2024, Capaldi Ciudad said, ‘I immersed myself in the worlds of cinema, art, and music, drawing upon the captivating narratives of Woman in Gold and 8 Mile, the evocative imagery of Gustav Klimt, and the profound lyricism of Eminem. As I sketched, I allowed Eminem’s words to fuel my creativity, repeating in my head, “I’m a genius.” The result was a burst of exhilarating designs that captured the essence of my vision.’
Just as chic is her ready-to-wear Barbie Disco collection, which includes tops and a jumpsuit. Elsewhere in the ready-to-wear line are her mini-dresses and crop tops, all of which show an energy with musical inspiration.
