Elizabeth Hurley hosts Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hot Pink Party, raising record amount

Elizabeth Hurley hosted the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s (BCRF) annual Hot Pink Party at the Glasshouse in New York City, which raised over US$11 million to support BCRF’s 260 scientists working on high-impact breast cancer research. The amount raised is a new record for the foundation.

Sting performed live at the event, with his hits including ‘Every Breath You Take’, ‘Fields of Gold’, and ‘Englishman in New York’.

VIPs included Nia Long, Imaan Hammam, Vera Wang, Misty Copeland, Allyn Rose, Allison Hall, Miranda McKeon, Toks Olagundoye, Ann Caruso, Hannah Storm and Dan Hicks, Damian Hurley, Eliana Lauder, Katherine Chan Lauder, Gary Lauder, Laura Lauder, Nina Lampert, Priya Shukla, Jenna Leigh Green, Abbe Raven, Jill and Harry Kargman, Kara Lindsay, Gretta Monahan and Ricky Paull Goldin, Emma Myles, Katie Thurston, Justine Morris, and Sarrah Strimel Bentley.

The evening honoured Tatiana Voevodina Cancro and Jersey Mike’s Subs CEO Peter Cancro. In September 2024, Jersey Mike’s Subs and their customers raised US$4·4 million for BCRF.

Breast cancer survivor Kate Williams received the Roslyn and Leslie Goldstein Unsung Hero Award, presented by fellow survivor and advocate Marcella Kelson.

Hurley is the Estée Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Campaign’s global ambassador, continuing a connection with the beauty company that began in the early 1990s.

BCRF is the world’s largest funder of breast cancer research. In the 30 years since its founding, breast cancer mortality rates have dropped 44 per cent.

The event was supported by Rafanelli Events and Winston Flowers. DJ Tokyo Rose performed a musical set.
