Day 2 at the 78th Festival de Cannes saw Chanel ambassador Kim Go-Eun (김고은) wearing a look from the house’s spring–summer 2025 prêt-à-porter collection, namely a black iridescent tweed jumpsuit with a lace chiffon cape, complemented by Chanel shoes, and the Pluie de Comètes earrings and Comète diamond ring both in white gold and diamonds. Kim was heading to the première of Mission: Impossible: the Final Reckoning, which presumably is the final outing of the feature film series starring Tom Cruise—they may not have been Mission: Impossible canon but the series has been incredibly entertaining spy-fi for nearly 30 years.

Fellow ambassador, Franco-Romanian actress Anamaria Vartolomei, wore Chanel at the opening of critics’ week. This was look 62 from the Chanel cruise 2025–6 collection, a black silk knit halter top with matching trousers, Chanel shoes, and Coco Crush earrings in 18 ct beige gold and diamonds and four bracelets, all with diamonds but different shades of 18 ct gold.
Finally, Lena Urzendowsky went to the première of the film she stars in, In die Sonne schauen (Sound of Falling), in a Chanel black tulle blouse embroidered with strass, embellished with a bow at the collar under a jacket with matching miniskirt from the autumn–winter 2025–6 prêt-à-porter collection.
It wasn’t just the top fashion houses getting exposure at Cannes. Irina Shayk wore the Mango Capsule white suit, showing that its premium line is getting celebrity custom.
