Chanel ambassadors continued their appearances on days eight and nine of the Festival de Cannes. Lyna Khoudri appeared at the photo call for Les aigles de la république in a white cotton cardigan with white tweed high-waisted shorts from the house’s cruise 2025–6 collection. Anne Berest, screenwriter of Vie privée, wore a black Chanel leather jacket with matching trousers, Coco Crush earrings in 18 ct white gold, 18 ct yellow gold and diamonds to the première. Zhang Zifeng (張子楓/张子枫) also attended the Vie privée première in a black vest entirely embroidered with sequins with ecru trousers from the Chanel Métiers d’art 2024–5 collection with Chanel shoes and Eternal No. 5 Diamond Line bracelet in 18 ct yellow gold and diamonds, Eternal No. 5 bracelet in 18 ct white gold and diamonds, and Eternal No. 5 earrings in 18 ct white gold and diamonds.
For the première of The History of Sound, Gracie Abrams chose a custom black halter-neck satin crêpe dress layered with drape chiffon on the top and embellished with black crystals on the bustier and straps. There were jewelled buttons in the back, with a black organza shawl forming a bow, and embellished with black jet crystals. The house took 456 hours and 19,300 embroidery elements. This was complemented by the Particuliere ring in 18 ct white gold, brown diamonds and white diamonds, Ruban ring in 18 ct white gold and diamonds, and the Champ de Blé earrings in 18 ct white gold and diamonds.
At the same première was Lou Lampros, in a black embroidered muslin dress, look 64 from the Chanel cruise 2025–6 collection, with Comète Couture necklace and ring in white gold and diamonds.
We finally saw Cannes red-carpet favourite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan appearing for L’Oréal Paris, as well as fellow ambassador Iris Mittenaere.
