What a pleasure to see local success story Skye Candle and Body Care open a new retail location at North City Plaza in Porirua, north of Wellington, New Zealand. The locally made brand, with its skin care, candles and scents, has gradually grown since Kash Harvey began the business at home in 2016.
Harvey found that making home fragrances and personal care products brought her great joy, something that is evident when you chat to her at her original Main Road, Tawa store—and the expansion into Porirua, where she will be for at least the Christmas season, will see the joy from her expertly made products reach an even wider audience.
We’ve frequently bought from Skye as the products are natural, with effective active ingredients, and tastefully packaged (Harvey designs her own packaging) in recyclable materials.
