Like many of her contemporaries who have made
it into Lucire,
Amber is ethically conscious but has
an additional, refreshingly open approach to her spirituality,
freely discussing her belief in the universe. She has taken
her path with an incredible calm, trusting in her inner guidance. That guidance had seen her venture from small-town
Karaka in the north of New Zealand to the day of the Miss World
New Zealand finals, which she recalls was a day of complete calm
for her. ‘I wasn’t nervous or anxious that day. I woke

up and everything ran smoothly,’ she told Lucire. She did
not consciously think she would take the title—but merely had an overwhelming
confidence things would work out perfectly.
