she’s admittedly not a heavy fashion industry follower,
Katy Rose does have a style of her own. When asked who her
favourite designers are, she answers, ‘I shop at garage sales
obsessively and put together ensembles. I’m not really a designer
kind of girl.’ When talking with her and listening to her
album, it’s easy to forget that Katy Rose is 17 years old.
While she inevitably draws comparisons to Avril Lavigne and
Fiona Apple, her album is unique in its own way and amazingly
mature for such a young singer–songwriter.
