When Lucire asked whether the Paillot was the result of a more demanding consumer, Panos responded that a great deal was about surprising women 'by giving them exactly what they want, sometimes even before they know they want it.'
   He continued, 'The limited edition Paillot is in great demand. People are signing up to reserve one. The design is very versatile and transforms without sacrificing the perfect fit and a beautiful line.'
   Panos's next major news item will be the announcement of the house's 2001-2 model. Former signature faces for Panos Emporio have included Victoria Silvstedt and Baywatch's Traci Bingham. Panos has kept quiet on who the new model will be, but assures us that both famous and not-so-famous women from around the world are on the shortlist.
