Sanctuary
WITH CUTTING-EDGE
STYLE, and innovative presentations, Sanctuary was one of
the most daring displays shown the entire week, epitomizing the
free spirit and originality of the Los Angeles apparel industry.
Models were sprawled along the runway floor before the show while
guests were being seated, dressed in all white and posing for the
cameramen who were getting terribly bored waiting for things to
begin. Once they cleared away and the girls started walking down
the runway, a new design and feel emerged into the catwalk. Sharp
edges, fraying, deconstruction and almost threatening lines were
cutting against the models’ skin.
