Back Jack: previewing a fund-raiser, fashion show and auction
As our publisher runs for Mayor of Wellington, Lucire previews just what guests at Soi can expect to see on July 17
This is one of those times we’ll talk about an event before it happens. Lucire publisher Jack Yan is having his second attempt at the Wellington mayoralty, and on July 17, a fund-raiser at Soi, 305 Evans Bay Parade, Greta Point. Lucire fashion and beauty editor Sopheak Seng and Arcana Imperii fashion event producer James Butters have created a show that showcases the best of New Zealand and international looks, while some great Kiwis have donated prizes for the event. This page shows some of the great items on offer for the auction (with Tommy’s Grant Cederwall doing the honours) on the 17th. We will report afterwards as well and let you know much we raised, and we’re donating 10 per cent of proceeds to CanTeen, the only New Zealand
organization that supports young people
aged 13–24 living with cancer. •
