Jose Antonio Tenente
Jose Antonio Tenente presented one of the most elegant collections that we have seen in the last few seasons. Despite his cohesive touch, Tenente surpassed his own limits, presenting an even more dazzling and fresh collection.
This time, the collection She/He Wraps Me, She/He Wraps Me Not celebrates the body wrapped with fabrics that cover, conceal and reveal. Despite the simplistic concept behind the collection, we did not judge the book by its cover!
The Collection shows rigorous cuts that flattered and complemented the female body through assertive draping, fluid fabrics and volumes.
Silk in shantung, satins, mikado, organza and tulles, mixed with linen and cotton, honoured what’s supposed to be one of the best silhouettes for summer 2009.

Lidija Kolovrat
Lidija Kolovrat, known for her conceptual and audacious style, astonished her audience with the summer collection, Man Bug.
For the first time, this designer refines and highlights the male body, without overemphasizing the asymmetry to the pieces.
Although more commercial, she was still able to maintain some of the elements that distinguish her line. Details such as irreverent asymmetry, colours and embroidery still classify her look as typically “urban youth”.
The collection presented by Lidija shows us a more playful side, reinforcing the need to please different bodies and a broader audience.

Alves Goncalves
Alves Goncalves is considered to be one of the most influential teams in Portuguese fashion. Its main focus is high-end couture and the élite just seems to love this label.
Alves Goncalves presented to a privileged few, in a strictly-by-invitation event. Cocktail dresses, evening dresses and executive wear were comprised its lavish 2009 summer collection.
The designers have used voluptuous forms, demarcated with draped contours. White, black and deep red were the predominant colours in fabrics such as satin duchaisse, crepes and jerseys of silk, accompanied by Cartier jewels.
