CHERYL COLE HAS ENJOYED more headlines in Lucire than some of the big-name supermodels over the last 12 months—unsurprising as her star continues to rise both as a singer and Britain’s sweetheart. The 26-year-old Geordie songstress headlined the de Grisogono party, presented in association with Maybach, at the Eden Rock Hotel in Cap d’Antibes during the Festival de Cannes last night, wearing a strapless Roberto Cavalli dress that would have to rank as among our favourites in this second week of events. Cole also donned jewellery from de Grisogono, and was escorted at the event by the head of the company, Fawaz Gruosi. Other celebrities who attended included supermodel Naomi Campbell and Vladimir Doronin, Giorgio Veroni and Tamara Beckwith, Lawrence Bender and Meg Ryan, Isabelle Adjani, Hofit Golan, Will I Am, Flavio Briatore and Elisabetta Briatore, Myleene Klass, Svetlana Metkina, Denise Rich, Margherita Missoni, Simona Ventura, Valeria Marini, Ornella Muti and Andrés Velencoso.
