ON APRIL 27, Elysiants announced the launch of its exclusive, invitation only social network in Chile, with an extravagant launch party at the recently opened Boudoir Lounge Bar, Santiago.

Elysiants, which has been in operation since 2008, is a VIP social network for those who celebrate life in style. It is a gateway for them to meet, communicate and share experiences with people globally, in an environment of mutual trust and luxury.

In recent years, social networks have become increasingly commercialized. Elysiants offers itself as an exclusive alternative, a private community that restores some of the trust that places such as Facebook have lost.

With 50,000 members from over 120 countries, there are many interesting people to meet as well as regular social events to attend.

Members can join with CLP$3,000,000 (c. US$6,500) or through a personal invitation.

There have been several global launch parties prior to the Chilean one. Guests enjoyed delicious drinks, DJs and gifts for each member. Sponsors included Veuve-Clicqout, Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Ciroc Vodka, Estampa wines Mosso, Boucheron, Bang & Olufsen and well known hairstylist and Lucire alum Benoît Poirier d’Ambreville.

Poirier d’Ambreville is one member among numerous luminaries in Chile, which includes athlete Jeremiah Israel, the designer Ruben Campos, and producer Mario Azocar.

Elysiants looks to grow even further with its headquarters on the Dutch Caribbean Island of Curaçao. Regional offices are in Amsterdam, Dubai, Hong Kong and Sao Paulo. •
